"Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name;
Worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness."
Worship at Fellowship Community Church is a personal collision with an awesome God. We get together each week to lift up the name of Jesus as a body of believers. We desire to create a place where each person in our midst can make a personal connection with a Savior who loves each of us deeply.
We believe in celebrating Jesus, drawing strength from the past, yet learning to "sing a new song" to the Lord.
At Fellowship, we are contemporary in style, drawing music from an amazing genre of worship leaders such as Tomlin, Crowder, Hillsong, and Bethel, among others. Yet, we also love to draw from the old hymns — sometimes constructed in a fresh way, other times rendered in the songs' traditional fashion.
We hope that worship becomes a lifestyle for you — and that Sunday mornings are one of many times within your week when you have the opportunity to reach out to touch our living God.
Interested in being part of Worship Arts Ministries?
We are always looking for talented people to be part of our team.
We have two ways that you can get connected and serve here with FCC's Worship Arts program:
If you are an instrumentalist who can read music, read and play by chord charts, and who has a good feel for the contemporary style that we use, please contact Pastor Ed, 303-928-7106.
Vocal Worship Team:
If you are a singer who can sing a specific part — whether alto, soprano, tenor or bass — and if you can consistently hold your pitch, we would love to have you as part of our team.
We have two different opportunities for vocalists:
Worship Leaders are on a rotating schedule; any given member normally sings once or twice a month. This allows us to have a few different vocalists leading worship each week. This team is reserved for the more experienced vocalist.
Our Praise Choir sings every 4-6 weeks and is open to all vocalists. This is a great place to get your feet wet as a vocalist, and get more comfortable singing in front of the church.
At Fellowship Community Church, we are all about training up leaders — including those with a passion for worship arts. So if you have a heart for glorifying God in the way you strive for musical excellence, we would love to have you.
"Give thanks to the Lord . . . Sing to him a new song;
play skillfully on the strings, with loud shouts . . .Let your steadfast love, O Lord,
be upon us, even as we hope in you."
