My dearest brothers and sisters!

As we celebrate our Lord Jesus' entrance to earth at Bethlehem, we are also challenged to keep alert for His second advent to earth. The promise of HIs return was affirmed by angels in Acts 1:11.

Acts 1:6-11
So when they (first century followers of Jesus) had come together, they asked him, "Lord, will you at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?" 7 He said to them, "It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority. 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." 9 And when he had said these things, as they were looking on, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight. 10 And while they were gazing into heaven as he went, behold, two men stood by them in white robes, 11 and said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven." (ESV)

As you travel down the path called today - take a moment to reflect on the promise of the future in the Almighty Hands of Jesus.

"The future is your friend when Jesus is your Savior and Lord."

All the plans have been made for our next outreach event - a live nativity.  All the actors are ready; the cookies and hot chocolate will be prepared.  So now is the time to go and invite others to come with you.  We are ready to welcome over 500 guests!  Please consider inviting your "5 favs" or others in your neighborhood or family.  We have made changes so that no one will be stuck waiting in a long line! We will have fun crafts for the children to create as well as timely messages by way of video.  Most of all pray that God will bless His Word as the true message of Christ's advent is proclaimed.

On Saturday night, December 14, from 4:30-7:30 you are invited to join us for a live nativity. This year we will re-tell the story of Jesus birth with actors and many live animals. We are located at 6263 South Parker Road in Centennial Colorado. We will sing, serve cookies and hot chocolate as we remember the miracle birth of Jesus. Plan to join us. We promise to give you a warm welcome as we remember again "the good news of great joy for all people." Luke 2:10.
